Why do we teach first aid class?

 

   During my 20 years as Firefighter/EMT, I have been priveledged to part of rescue teams that have saved lives.  Even outside my professional role, I've even been part of a save on a return flight from Florida where quick actions from several passengers made the distance for a father traveling with his son.  Some of these stories stick with me to the point that I just have to share this knowledge so that you too can have this feeling that you made a difference.

 

  I started teaching in 2016 with the help of Central Mass EMS Corp and In A Heartbeat, LLC.  My friends and family wanted to join in on the mission, so I created ColBro First Aid & Safety Training, LLC.  We started looking at why some people won't take a CPR course and found it may be because of travel time and availability.  We are always looking for small venues to host small classes and we randomize the schedule to provide the best options.  If you have a group looking to take a class and a location to host it, we can come to you.  We at ColBro don't want to limit you to just the courses listed on our website.  If you have interest in other related courses, such as ACLS, feel free to let us know.  If we do not offer the class, more than likely we know someone who does.
